OVERVIEW

Clara, a digital rental passport platform, aimed to transform the rental process by addressing pain points for both tenants and landlords: repetitive applications, difficulty finding reliable tenants, lack of unified platforms, need for secure information handling, and the challenge of building from scratch.I collaborated with Clara to design and develop their platform from concept to MVP in under 9 months through comprehensive research, user-centric design, full-scale development, thorough testing, and successful launch.

The platform achieved significant improvements including drastically reduced application time for tenants, accelerated screening for landlords, positive user feedback, successful market entry as an innovative PropTech solution, steady user base growth, and established trust through robust data protection.

This case study highlights the power of understanding dual-sided market pain points, prioritizing intuitive interfaces, and employing agile development to rapidly bring a complex product to market—demonstrating how targeted digital innovation can transform traditional industries and create value for all stakeholders.
